Devotional Objects, Silkscreen prints and porcelain ceramic objects, 2020
In this series of silkscreens and ceramic objects, inanimate and mundane objects are given a fantastical meaning. Just as certain objects are assigned a spiritual meaning in religion, absurdist objects receive the same care in this series, as waffles, bowls of cereal, mickey mouse cartoons, and bananas become elevated into objects of meaning and profundity.
